Abstract: We are honoured and glad to be able to publish in the present issue articles coming from different European countries, Spain and Poland, one about longitudinal studies on ectodermal displasia and the other one about the correlation between bronchial asthma (and its therapy) and dental caries.
This demonstrates the new increasing foreign interest in our European Journal of Paediatric Dentistry.
The subjects of the other four papers, coming from Italy, are on the comparison of the therapeutic protocols in tooth avulsion, on the microscopic analysis of cementoenamel junction of deciduous teeth, on the oral hygiene habits of Italian school children and two case reports of familial hypomagnesemia with hypercalciuria and nefrocalcinosis.
In this way I think the journal really can help the interchange of contributions in Europe to spread or enlarge the knowledge in the field of Paediatric Dentistry for the better care of child dental health.
To offer easier opportunities to reach at the content of our Journal we list the Internet websites where it is possible to find information about EJPD. Please use also this way to be in touch with us.
Finally we suggest to read the final programme of the congress in Rome (December 8-9th 2006) where the Italian Society of Paediatric Dentistry celebrates its 50th anniversary: during these 50 years the society has been very active in Italy, in Europe and in all the world to support any Paediatric organisation meant to improve Child Dental Health, and it is our honour to be one of the six Societies which created in Italy (and precisely in Siena) the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry, initially named International Association of Dentistry for Children (IADC), now enrolling the societies from all over the world.
