ABSTRACT
Aim
Few dentists have seen an impacted mandibular canine and first premolar, and there is little information in
the literature on the treatment of this rare condition. CASE REPORT: A 13-year-old Japanese male with an impacted
mandibular right canine and first premolar was treated orthodontically. We discuss both the surgical and orthodontic
options and present the successful orthodontic correction of a unilaterally impacted mandibular canine and first
premolar.
